Grace W. Looper, Writer

Grace W. Looper’s Bio

Grace W. Looper writes all types of fiction–novels, short stories, children’s stories and an occasional non-fiction piece.  She belongs to the South Carolina Writers Workshop and the Southeastern Writers Conference.  She takes part in two critique groups and frequently goes to Writers Workshops.

She has published a series of three books about Aaron Gilbert Fowler, beginning when he is eleven, thirteen, and nineteen-years-old–Molasses Making Time, Great Grandpa’s Hidden Treasure, and A Call for Courage.  There is a fourth book in the series that has been completed and is being critiqued by my groups.  It’s title is A Second Chance.

Grace has published a number of short stories and won a number of awards for her stories and novels.  Last week, she won five awards at the Southeasstern Writers Conference–a first place for a novel, a second place for an inspirational novel, a third place for a holiday short storie, and two honorable mentions.
